For those of you who have
Medicare insurance claims, the Medicare Part-B LISTSERV can be an
invaluable source of information.
A LISTSERV is a mailing list where every E-mail question and every
answer is sent to everyone on the list. This LISTSERV currently has
about 600 subscribers, mostly office managers, consultants and
reimbursement specialists.
The Medicare Part-B LISTSERV is
managed by United Communications, publisher of Part B News, the Part B
Answer Book and dozens of other Medical management and coding
publications.
On any given day you will
receive between fifty to one-hundred E-mails! For example, I
posted a question concerning the SNOCAMP medical records format at 10:30
am. By 10:30 p.m. the same day I had eight replies. While the sheer
amount of information can be overwhelming, some of best reimbursement
specialists in the country are online.
To sign up send email to:
LISTSERV@usa.net with no subject. In the body of the E-mail type the
words:
SUBSCRIBE PARTB-L followed by your first and last name.
You should receive notification within an hour or so. You can always
unsubscribe if you don't like being on the LISTSERV.
